Carl Woods has expressed his relief that his former relationship with Katie Price did not result in a child, 

despite their efforts to conceive through IVF. 

The pair, who were in a relationship from 2020 to 2023, had a deeply serious romance that even led to an engagement. 

During their time together, they had hoped to expand their family and had undergone IVF, creating embryos using Carl’s sperm and Katie’s eggs. 

However, after their split, it became clear that their attempts at parenthood would no longer be pursued, 

and Carl has since revealed that he is glad the process did not work out.

In an exclusive interview with *The Sun*, Carl reflected on the IVF journey and his feelings about it. He explained that while he had once hoped for a family with Katie, the end result has been a positive one for him. Carl shared that he feels liberated now that there are no longer any ties between them. Despite the highs of their relationship, he admitted that discovering Katie’s alleged infidelity during their time together left him hurt. For Carl, the failed IVF attempt was a blessing in disguise.

He candidly stated, “This is not a heartbreak situation. I’m not unhappy that it didn’t work. I’m ecstatic that it didn’t work. I’m sure she’s glad she’s got the clean break. You know, we don’t have any ties.” Carl expressed a sense of peace, adding, “So actually, yes, everything happens for a reason. God was looking down on me and Kate and said, ‘you’re not matched to be parents, let’s not make this work. You go that way, I’ll go this way.’”

Carl’s comments come ahead of the release of Katie Price’s new documentary, *Katie Price: Making Babies*, which will air next week. The documentary follows Katie as she continues her quest to become a mother for the sixth time. During the filming, which took place while she was still in a relationship with Carl, the cameras captured moments of the couple’s IVF journey. In an interview, she revealed that a clinic is ready to implant donor eggs and sperm to help her conceive. Katie has chosen a donor with a mixed-race background from the United States, and while she may have one viable egg, she has opted for a donor egg as well to increase her chances of success.
