Gordon Ramsay has never been one to hide his opinions, and when it came to his daughter Tilly dating fellow TV chef Gino D’Acampo’s son Luciano, his disapproval was crystal clear.

Now, with Gino facing serious allegations of inappropriate behavior—claims he 

has vehemently denied—Ramsay’s reaction to their children’s brief romance is back in the spotlight. 

Reports suggest the two celebrity chefs are no longer on speaking terms, 

with sources claiming that Ramsay himself raised concerns about D’Acampo’s conduct as far back as two years ago.

Tilly and Luciano’s Brief Romance

Tilly Ramsay and Luciano D’Acampo were first linked in 2019 after meeting through their famous fathers, who at the time were filming Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip alongside co-star Fred Sirieix. While the young couple never publicly confirmed their relationship, their on-camera interactions made it clear they were more than just friends.

One of the most memorable moments involving their romance occurred during a FaceTime call between Luciano and Gino while the chefs were filming their ITV series in Mexico. Gino rang his then-18-year-old son, who excitedly teased him, “Do you know who I’m with?” before turning the camera to reveal Tilly.

Ramsay’s reaction was instant. “What the hell? Tilly! What are you doing, Matilda?!” he demanded, clearly shocked.

Tilly, laughing, responded, “We’re on a date. We’ve gone for dinner,” adding that she had “forgotten” to tell her dad.

Their co-star, Fred Sirieix, only added to Ramsay’s discomfort by joking, “Guys, remember, it’s okay to kiss on the first date. If you feel the urge, you’ve got to do it.”

During an appearance on This Morning, D’Acampo told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, “It’s a great pleasure to know that my son is dating Gordon’s daughter. Just to annoy him, just to really annoy him.”

At the time, his comments were taken in jest, as the two chefs were known for their playful rivalry. However, in light of their apparent falling out, those jokes now carry a different weight.

The Allegations Against Gino and Ramsay’s Reported Distance

Recent reports have surfaced accusing Gino D’Acampo of inappropriate behavior on TV sets over a 12-year period. He has firmly denied all allegations, calling them “deeply upsetting.”

However, as the controversy unfolds, Ramsay has noticeably distanced himself from his former friend and co-star. According to sources, the Hell’s Kitchen chef was actually one of the first to raise concerns about D’Acampo’s behavior two years ago.

A report from Mail Online suggested that Ramsay witnessed behavior he found unacceptable and decided to speak out. A source claimed, “Gordon found there was a lot of unacceptable behavior going on. He saw things he didn’t think were okay, so he spoke up. That was that—friendship over.”

No Reconciliation in Sight

In the past, Gordon and Gino were known for their comedic chemistry, often teasing each other on-screen and engaging in friendly competition. But with Gino now facing serious allegations and Ramsay reportedly keeping his distance, it seems unlikely that the two will be working together again anytime soon.

While their children’s brief romance was once a source of playful banter, it has now become a reminder of how much their relationship has changed. Ramsay’s initial disapproval of the relationship may have been humorous at the time, but given the current circumstances, it now appears to be a telling sign of the deep divide between the two chefs.
